The Lorax

Ditto the great work today!!!

Please review the post below & ensure that you are answering with specific details...check over your Science notes from class.

Remember you can bring in your jot notes from today...pep those right up & load them up with ideas & support.

Hit the books for the Chem exam...Thursday morning double period.

THE LORAX

Grade 9's

Excellent answers and class discussion!  If you feel that you need to add to your handout please re-watch The Lorax.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8V06ZOQuo0k

Remember that when you are forming responses you need to not only have the components of a paragraph (Topic sentence, Example/Explanation time 3 and a comment which ties it all together), you will also have to have your higher thinking on paper.  In this case you are expected to ti examples that we see today or have talked about in class when answering the questions.  You may have some homework before tomorrows class.
If you are looking for the structure of a paragraph:

Topic Sentence               -1 to 2 sentence
Explanation                    -12 to 16 sentences
Examples/Evidence
Comment                        -2 to 3 sentences

Welcome Back Everyone We Missed You!

We are using our visual journals each week to keep our daily works.  You will need to come up with a way to keep your documents together. I suggest a sleeve on the back cover.
Today in class we watched the following video:

And complete the following video journal:

Do you think people who are different from each other can still be friends?
