Hope you are having a lovely weekend despite the cold temperatures.
For Monday, please have your:
Chemistry sheet (just for atomic mass/number)
Lewis Dot Structure/Modified Churchill format to show nucleus, electron filling pattern, valence
Classifying Elements (use your textbook for this then pep it up with all the things you know from valence electrons etc.)
As was discussed after your partner check-ins....a whole bunch of you are struggling with your fraction operations/integer operations. Please ensure that you are doing some review this weekend so those skills are solid or embrace the barn door strategy & practice that technique so you can get right out of fractions.
Thursday, March 16th is our Citizenship Ceremony...it will be all hands on deck. Please ensure that you are checking in with Mrs. Kirk around how can you help/what needs to be done etc. Please start to plan your outfits...we will all need to look our best to celebrate. Some jobs require time after school on Wednesday for set-up...please ensure that you know where you need to be & what you need to be helping with...thanks.
There will be a Chem Quiz (it will be quite big) covering everything that we have learned on March 20th. There is an Algebra Unit Assessment on March 21st. Please start your prep early.
