Update Ma/Sc

1.  Hand in your triathlon forms.

2.  CASH launch today...you have 2 periods to work tomorrow in the library (periods 1 and 3).

3.  Linear check in tomorrow...table of values/equations/is it linear/scenario question

4.  Have a great day tomorrow with Ms. Hoskins.

GDP Explained if you MISSED it in Class!

Take the time to watch the following video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqT5I0etVKg

Remember you will receive your GDP per capita and then you will multiply it by your population to find out your Gross Domestic Product.  Your GDP is one indicator of how healthy you economy is, your society will need to represent variables.  As you plan you will have to deal with the variables given to you.  This is "why" Mrs.Krushel is always talking about the hard decisions

Also keep in mind that the map in the hallway is Mercator projected so you MUST go to an atlas to get a accurate representation of the size of your society.

(For example, Greenland looks bigger than Africa but we all know that Africa is eight times bigger in real life.  It is very hard to take our round world and lay it flat!
