Hi Everybody,
Here is a copy of the email that was sent to families this morning. Thanks for taking the time to review & record all of the dates & details.
Good Morning 901/902 Families,
Hope you are enjoying the weekend.
We just wanted to send another email to keep you up-to-date with upcoming events/details/dates:
1. Matt Fell sent an email to all of you last week outlining the plan for the ELA PAT part 1 exam that takes place on Tuesday, May 9th. Here is a brief overview of the plan for your calendars. Students will write in 2 waves to ensure that they receive the allotted time and have access to a computer for their exam. Exam is 2 hours in length with 30 minutes of additional time if students need.
Wave 1: 8:30-11:00 am ELL/IPP students; last names A-Ma and any students that live in Nolan Hill
Wave 2: 11:00-1:30 pm ELL/IPP can still be writing if they need additional time; last names Me-Z
Please review Matt Fell's email from last week & take a moment to review the plan with your son/daughter. Thank you. A paper copy of the email will be sent home tomorrow with students as a reminder.
2. Thursday, May 11th--all grade 9 students will be attending the Economics for Success field trip at SAIT. We need volunteers to support this trip. Parents/guardians, if you have a police clearance in place & are able to join us, we would love for you to come with us! Please contact Marnie Krushel at mnkrushel@cbe.ab.ca if you are able to help. We will leave the school by 9 am and will return by 2:30 pm. Field trip paperwork is now past due...students, please tend to this asap and hand these forms in to your homeroom teacher asap. Thank you!
