The Rules of the Game

You will have to write the ending of the story "The Rules of the Game"  Please re-read the story and review the new skills that we discussed in class today.  You may have your journal, the assignment and your copy of the story to have with you when you write.  You will be given one period to complete it.
Your piece of writing should flow naturally from the main story and must include the following:

• a resolution to the conflict
• at least five lines of dialogue between the characters (highlight or underline in blue)
• at least one simile (highlight or underline in red)
• at least one personification (highlight or underline in green)
• at least two specific passages that include sensory details (highlight or underline in yellow)
• A minimum of 250 words
